Schedule: We are currently seeking full-time or part-time availability to cover the following shifts:

- Weekdays & weekends 7 am - 3 pm & 3 pm - 11 pm.

Pay: $16.00 - $16.50/hour. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position; including experience, skills, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.

This is a Sherman Associates owned Marriott International, Inc franchised location.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures every guest is greeted and Welcomed on arrival
  • Registers and book guests, verifying reservation, address, email address and credit information
  • Proficient on kiosk operations to assist when necessary
  • Answers all inbound calls in a professional manner
  • Has an intimate knowledge of the hotel facilities and the local geographic area
  • Accepts payment for guests' accounts at the time of registration and at checkout
  • Maintains a house bank and make a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily
  • Processes all Retail transactions for the guest
  • Responsible for restocking and assuring overall cleanliness of Retail
  • Issues luggage claims and check guest luggage when requested
  • Takes pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel assuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times
  • Respectfully listen and respond to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner
  • Completes additional duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position
  • Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
  • Basic computer knowledge and some knowledge in word, excel, outlook, and internet
  • A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
  • Schedule may vary due to the specific needs of the hotel
