This is a direct-hire opportunity with a well-established government agency that oversees regional planning, transportation, and economic development work across the region. If you're a finance leader who wants a true seat at the table, enjoys being hands-on with your team, and thrives on solving problems rather than just flagging them, then this might be the opportunity for you.

  • Partner with the CEO on the annual budget, the strategic operating plan, and key organizational decisions

  • Experience managing diverse funding portfolios, including federal, state, and local grants
  • Strong communicator who can build trust with an experienced team that has a range of personalities
  • A collaborative, can-do attitude and a willingness to work alongside your team, not just manage from above

Chief Financial Officer Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in accounting or a related field
  • CPA or CPFO certification
  • Prior experience with a regional council, MPO/TPO, or similar governmental planning agency

Chief Financial Officer Details:

  • Location: Pensacola, FL area (Northwest Florida)
