Hospital/Clinic Information: PT Solutions proudly has partnered with Advent Health Carrollwood, which is a 120-bed facility located in the heart of Tampa. This hospital is a registered Primary Stroke Center and recently hired 4 new orthopedic surgeons. Clinicians can expect to see/treat majority post op ortho cases, with some neuro mixed in. This is an all-acute care hospital.

PRN Shift/Hour Requirements: 2 weekend day shifts per month, 1 major holiday, 1 minor holiday

Your Responsibilities as an Acute Care Speech Language Pathologist

  • Deliver evidence-based, quality care to each patient to facilitate return home or to next level of care
  • Establish timely treatment plans for each patient's specific needs
  • Demonstrate a positive connection with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members
  • Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital (I.e. physicians, case management, nurses, etc)

Qualifications

  • Graduate ofaCAA approved Speech-Language Pathology program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association
  • State Licensure in Speech Language Pathology
  • Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply
  • Basic Life Support certification

Compensation

Pay Rate: $50.00 per hour + $65.00 on call rate
