Do you have a passion for helping individuals with autism become productive, socially connected, and personally fulfilled members of their local communities?
Do you have experience with Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)?
Are you looking for opportunities to work with participants residing in Montgomery County, Chester County and/or Delaware counties?
If You answered "YES" to ANY of those questions, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team as a Behavior Support Specialist!
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position.
Who We Are:
Devereux's Community Adult Autism Partnership Program (CAAPP) provides personal growth opportunities for adults, ages 21 and over, with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, emotional and/or behavioral differences, and brain injuries.
What We Do:
The goal of CAAPP is to provide instruction and support across work, community and home environments that will facilitate participants in becoming a more independent, productive, socially connected member of his or her local community. This unique model focuses on partnering with community supports to maximize each consumer's potential.
Our Behavior Support Specialists:
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments
- Work collaboratively with the individual served and team members, such as the family and Community Support Professionals to develop and implement a Positive Behavior Support Plan in an effort to reduce challenging behavior and teach appropriate replacement behaviors
- Provide ongoing assessment, program design and monitoring of treatment interventions/data collection as well as direct therapy
Salary:
$35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Work Schedule:
- Flexible working hours depending on assignment

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Education, or Applied Behavior Analysis
- At least one (1) year experience developing and implementing FBA's and PBSP's.
- Applied Behavioral Analysis Experience required.
- Licensed Behavior Specialist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst preferred.
- Completion of Bureau of Autism Services Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) training preferred but not required.
- License and Vehicle REQUIRED.
