Adult Day Program Supervisor

Aptiv is seeking a compassionate and organized Adult Day Program Supervisor to lead our Adult Day Care program serving adults with disabilities. This role combines leadership, program oversight, and direct participant support to ensure high-quality services that promote independence, community engagement, and meaningful life experiences.

What You'll Do
  • Supervise daily operations of the Adult Day Program.
  • Lead, coach, train, and support program staff.
  • Develop and oversee engaging, person-centered activities and services.
  • Ensure participant health, safety, and satisfaction.
  • Manage participant referrals, scheduling, and service utilization.
  • Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, HCBS standards, and agency policies.
  • Monitor documentation, care plans, and program records.
  • Build positive relationships with participants, families, guardians, and community partners.
  • Assist with transportation coordination and operate accessible vehicles as needed.
  • Provide direct support services while maintaining program oversight responsibilities.
QualificationsRequired
  • Three years of experience in human services, OR post-secondary coursework with one year of related experience.
  • Experience supporting adults with disabilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
  • Reliable transportation and valid insurance coverage.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience working in licensed day services or adult day programs.
  • Experience growing programs and increasing service utilization.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Assist with participant transfers and mobility support.
  • Push and pull wheelchairs.
  • Operate wheelchair-accessible vehicles, lifts, and securement systems.
  • Work in community-based and outdoor settings on a regular basis.
