Job description

Facility: Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center
Position: Concierge
Location: Boynton Beach, Florida
Shift: Full-Time
Salary: $18–$23 per hour

About the Role:
Isles of Boynton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a warm, compassionate, and detail-oriented Concierge to enhance our residents' experience and support smooth transitions during admissions and discharges. As the Concierge, you will serve as a key point of contact for residents and their families, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Admissions Department and Nursing Team to prepare for new resident admissions.

  • Check and ready rooms, including confirming all equipment (beds, oxygen, etc.) is available and operational.

  • Ensure rooms are clean, lights and call bells work, TVs are functioning, and remotes are present.

  • Assemble welcome baskets with essentials (as applicable).

  • Personally greet and escort new residents to their rooms.

  • Offer emotional support to residents and family members as needed.

  • Answer call bells and follow up to ensure resident needs are met.

  • Receive and report resident complaints/concerns through the grievance process.

  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.

  • Attend in-service trainings, supervisory meetings, and all Resident Council meetings.

  • Provide tours during off-hours in the absence of admissions staff.

  • Assist with room changes when residents transition from short-term rehab to long-term care.

  • Complete Concierge follow-up forms within 48 business hours of admission and before planned discharge.

  • Email daily progress reports to administration to track any concerns or trends.

  • Coordinate with laundry for residents returning from hospital stays.

  • Distribute discharge gift bags and ensure supplies are stocked.

  • Monitor scheduled smoking sessions.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator.

Requirements:

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

  • Strong decision-making and communication skills.

  • Comfortable with computers, office equipment, and learning new systems.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
