Admissions Advisor

On-Campus • Full-Time (40 hrs/week) • Direct Hire

RNG Group is partnering with a respected beauty and cosmetology school system to find their next Admissions Advisor. This is a fast-paced, relationship-first role for someone who loves closing the loop — from that first inquiry, through a great campus tour, all the way to a student's first day of class. If you're a natural connector with a sales mindset and a genuine passion for helping people find their path keep reading.

About Our Client

Our client is a respected cosmetology and beauty school system with a strong track record of turning prospective students into working professionals. For many Future Professionals, the

Admissions Advisor is their very first connection to the school — the person who helps them picture what's possible and guides them from curiosity to enrollment. This team moves fast and cares deeply: same-day (often immediate) responses to inquiries, hands-on campus tours, and a genuine investment in walking each student through the full enrollment funnel, from first inquiry all the way to matriculation. The Admissions Advisor also sits on the campus leadership team, working closely with staff and faculty to support every student's path forward.

What You'll Do

• Respond to inquiries immediately — if immediate is not possible, then within a maximum of 2 hours — for the purpose of converting qualified inquiries into enrolled students.

• Consistently keep a personal database of past inquiries utilizing the office CRM and create opportunities for converting those inquiries into enrolled students for the current and future start dates.

• Manage all inquiries, record all interactions, and create recruiting opportunities with inquiries through the use of the CRM. Collaborate with other staff and faculty, communicating on a regular and timely basis concerning the status of recruits and applicants.

• Create a trusted advisor relationship with inquiries and expertly and efficiently move inquiries through the enrollment funnel, including acceptance of applications, confirmation of accepted students for enrollment, and ensuring all enrolled students become matriculated students.

• Maintain a high rate of contact frequency with inquiries and applicants in all student stages in an effort to move them through the enrollment funnel.

• Conduct high-energy, personalized campus tours and actively participate in all on-campus recruiting events — including information sessions and new student orientations — to inspire prospective students to envision their future with our client.

• Support the campus management team as a member of the leadership team.

• Position will have set goals each term and performance will be measured on a variety of metrics including conversion rate and enrollment goals.

• Occasionally travel for recruiting and training purposes, work evenings and weekends to meet designated goals.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Possesses strong writing, interpersonal and communication skills especially as it relates to prospective students.

• Have the ability to work independently within a team structure and effectively with a diverse constituency.

• Highly motivated self-starter who is able to prioritize their work strategically and efficiently.

• Demonstrated high level of humility, strong work ethic and emotional intelligence.

• Willingness to contribute to a healthy team culture.

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent preferred, but not required.

• Strong background in modern sales performance skills (B2C experience preferred) and a demonstrated track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.

• Familiarity with higher education recruiting practices, usage of higher education specific CRM software and working within a university/trade school system with multiple departments strongly preferred.

• Must be a problem solver and able to deal with changing circumstances and have shown the ability to overcome obstacles.

• Experienced in providing excellent customer service — especially in the area of providing customers with tailored solutions that directly lead to sales.

• Demonstrated proficiency with Google Apps.

Compensation & Benefits

The pay range for this position is determined by a number of factors including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, internal equity and location. The position is on campus. Normal working hours will be 40 hours per week with a schedule established M-F between the hours of 8am-6pm. Hours may vary based on the needs of the school and will be specified by your supervisor. Some travel and weekend hours will be required.
