Job description

Position Overview

An Administrative Assistant is needed for a 13-week assignment supporting front-office operations in a pediatric and obstetric care environment. This role provides clerical support, patient scheduling, multi-line phone coverage, and exam preparation instructions. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism, strong communication skills, and a patient-centered approach aligned with the organization’s mission and vision.

Assignment Details

  • Interview: On-site manager interview

  • Shift Cancellation Policy: 24 hours every 13 weeks

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and families in a courteous, supportive manner

  • Answer multi-line telephones and route calls appropriately

  • Schedule exams using the Radiology Information System

  • Provide preparation instructions based on modality requirements

  • Maintain a friendly, professional environment for patients and staff

  • Support clerical workflows and departmental communication

  • Incorporate mission and vision concepts into daily practice

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
