• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate patients' cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functions, utilizing a range of standardized tests and interviews.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that leverage evidence-based therapeutic techniques, adapting approaches to meet the specific needs of each patient.
• Provide individual and group psychotherapy sessions, facilitating discussions on topics such as trauma, addiction, and coping strategies.
• Administer and analyze psychological tests, creating comprehensive reports that contribute to diagnosis and subsequent treatment planning.
• Collaborate effectively with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention and support during acute episodes, employing de-escalation techniques and ensuring patient safety.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient progress, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in workshops, case reviews, and collaborative team meetings.

Our detox center serves a wide array of patients, from young adults grappling with early substance use to older adults seeking recovery from long-term dependencies. You will work closely with a varied client demographic, providing culturally competent care tailored to individual backgrounds, experiences, and needs. Your role will be vital in helping clients navigate the complexities of recovery while fostering long-lasting change.

• Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Psychology from an accredited university.
• Active and valid licensure as a psychologist in the state of Oregon.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting.
• Strong competency in psychological assessment methodologies and treatment modalities.
• Exceptional interpersonal and clinical skills, with an emphasis on building trust and rapport with clients.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

• Experience specifically in addiction treatment and recovery settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Expertise in providing supervision to psychology interns or residents.
• Knowledge of telehealth practices and technologies.
