Job description

 
  • Project Management of OE/IAM CV Projects 
  • Ensure that technical, time and cost targets are met through tight communication with R&D and production
  • Internal and external presentations (e.g. at brake seminars, trade shows, dealer trainings etc.)
  • Communication of customer targets, specifications and project related requirements to the team.
  • Perform Technical administrative activities, such as but not limited to:
    1. Fulfill activities in Globus for quotations
    2. Follow PDIP process for all NPI phases of the project, which means in general:
  • Manage prototypes activities to guarantee the customers will receive the parts within the expected time:
    1. Push for setting the definitions (friction material, under layer, backing plate origin (current supplier, laser cut etc.), type mechanical attachment, components etc.)
    2. Follow up with the responsible for each activity (might require interaction with different sites, e.g., Queretaro, Salto, Essen etc.).
  • Visit customers:
    1. Handle customers in different situations
    2. Collect market and technology information and share with the company.

  • Application Engineering Automotive is preferred
  • 4-year degree- automotive school or engineering degree (BS or higher)
  • 2-3 years' minimum experience in the Automotive and or CV field
  • Valid US driver's license
  • APQP, PPAP, PFMEA required experience
  • Former jobs (technical or administrative) with Brakes or Friction Material manufacturers are positive 
  • In office job, no off site work
  • Able to travel Domestic and international
  • Language. English native or fluent. German or Spanish is a plus.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel & Power Point).
  • Use ERPs and quotation management software (SAP, Globus, TMD Inside etc.; will be learned at TMD).
