Job description

About this Job This is a promotional posting open only to permanent, classified employees of the Secretary of State's office. The mission of the Secretary of State's office is to serve the public by fulfilling its legal responsibilities of collecting, securing, and communicating information that enhances commerce, ensures the integrity of Louisiana's elections, and preserves, presents, and makes accessible government information essential to Louisiana's operations and its recorded history. The Louisiana Secretary of State is seeking to fill a vacant Administrative Program Director 3 position in the Procurement Section by promoting a current permanent employee.

Minimum Qualifications Eight years of experience in administrative services; OR Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR A bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in administrative services; OR An advanced degree plus four years of experience in administrative services. EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
