What You Will Contribute:

The People Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are executed accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on employee service. This role supports employee records, HR systems, benefits administration, compliance activities, reporting, and employee inquiries. This role partners with the HR owners who are responsible for process design, technology strategy, and operational governance to deliver an exceptional employee experience.

Key Responsibilities:

People Operations & Employee Administration

  • Maintain employee records and HR documentation.

  • Execute employee lifecycle transactions and maintain associated documentation in HR systems.

  • Prepare HR communications, correspondence, and employment-related documentation.

  • Assist with administration of the Motus vehicle program.

  • Support document retention, auditing, and compliance processes.

Employee Experience

  • Coordinate offboarding and required employment documentation in accordance with established People Operations processes.

  • Administer and support employee recognition programs, including service awards.

  • Serve as a key point of contact for employee questions and HR support.

HR Systems & Reporting

  • Maintain employee information within HR systems and ensure data accuracy.

  • Generate standard and ad hoc reports and support HR data requests and reporting needs.

  • Participate in user acceptance testing, document business requirements, and support implementation of HR system enhancements led by the People Operations & HR Technology Lead.

  • Perform routine data audits, identify discrepancies, and escalate systemic issues as appropriate.

Benefits & Program Administration

  • Process benefit-related invoices and support benefit administration activities.

  • Coordinate employee programs, including tuition reimbursement, wellness initiatives, commuter benefits, scholarship programs, and other HR-sponsored offerings.

  • Respond to employment verification requests.

Compliance & Employee Support

  • Execute established compliance and recordkeeping processes and support internal and external audit activities.

  • Assist with internal and external audits.

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries and provide exceptional customer service to employees and managers.

  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

Experience and Education:

  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources, People Operations, Benefits, Payroll, or a related administrative role.

  • Experience working with HR systems and employee data. Prior experience with Workday or similar HRIS platform is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.

  • Experience supporting multiple HR disciplines.
