We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Pre-Judgment Department. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates interested in legal operations, litigation support, or exploring a future career in the legal field.
The successful candidate will support the department through document preparation, case inventory management, administrative processing, and workflow support while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Position Summary
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Pre-Judgment Department. This role is responsible for maintaining case-related information, preparing and processing documents, reviewing inventories and data, and assisting with departmental workflows designed to support litigation operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy in a deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, review, and process documents related to department operations.
  • Assist with case inventory review, maintenance, and tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records and data within Firm systems.
  • Perform document management, scanning, copying, and filing activities.
  • Assist in meeting established deadlines and production goals.
  • Support departmental initiatives aimed at improving processes and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct basic research and information gathering as needed.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, legal support staff, and other departments to support operational objectives.
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding case status and workflow needs.
  • Adhere to Firm policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Contribute to special projects and perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and Firm objectives.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
