Job description

Responsibilities:

  1. Provides climate for staff in which they can seek feedback, voice concerns or receive information.
  2. Counsels staff and takes appropriate actions.
  3. Keeps administration informed of activities and problems.
  4. Acts as a liaison with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
  5. Serves as a clinical resource to staff, other hospital areas, students and families.
  6. Supervises multi-position employees in order to contribute to the overall goals of the hospital.
  7. Maintains a safe, clean and organized environment for staff and patients.
  8. Initiates exposure management as directed/indicated by employee/occupational health.
  9. Updates BARTT system as required by state.
  10. Completes required calls/documentation of patient deaths
  11. Maintains interpreter log. Supports interpreter requests.
  12. Performs all other duties as they relate to this position.

Licenses/Certifications/Registrations/Education

  • Licensed RN in South Carolina, maintain ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and CPI Certification
  • At least 3 years total related work experience

  • PRN   (Nights, 7p-7a)
