Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Epicor Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to end-users of the Epicor ERP system. You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of Epicor processes, contributing to the success of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • User Support & Training: Provide timely and effective support to end-users, addressing issues related to Epicor functionality, workflows, and system performance.
  • System Administration: Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the Epicor ERP system, including managing user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues within the Epicor environment, including connectivity problems, data errors, and system bugs.
  • Customization & Optimization: Collaborate with the development team to customize and optimize Epicor modules to meet business requirements, including creating and modifying dashboards, reports, and business processes.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, system configurations, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Upgrades & Patches: Assist in planning, testing, and implementing Epicor system upgrades, patches, and new releases.
  • Integration Support: Work with other IT and business teams to ensure seamless integration of Epicor with other enterprise systems, such as CRM, MES, and financial software.
  • Data Management: Oversee data integrity within Epicor, including data imports, exports, and backup processes.

  • Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure that all Epicor activities comply with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience:
  • 3+ years of experience in an Epicor support role or similar ERP system.
  • Strong understanding of Epicor modules (e.g., Financials, Manufacturing, Supply Chain).
  • Experience with SQL and other database management tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Epicor ERP system, including configuration, customization, and administration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and change management processes.
  • Knowledge of business processes in manufacturing, finance, and distribution.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Epicor Certification(s).
