Job description

Administer and support infrastructure systems in an enterprise environment. Ensure systems are configured in a manner that optimally supports the strategies of the business and continuously delivers value.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (Note: Other duties may be assigned)

  • Assist with support of infrastructure systems including networking, servers, hardware and software both on premise and cloud
  • Proactively maintain infrastructure systems to ensure maximum uptime
  • Actively monitor systems for performance bottlenecks and resolve issues
  • Monitor, scan, and test systems for security vulnerabilities and resolve issues
  • Support the administration of user directory and policies
  • Assist with infrastructure support of products managed by VRA Product Teams
  • Support all client applications
  • Research, test, and install software updates
  • Create and maintain documentation for implemented solutions
  • Configure systems to adhere to SOX, PCI, and other applicable compliance initiatives
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and develop and implement solutions that drive value for the organization
  • On-call as needed to provide technical support to off-shifts

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Associates/Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of server administration experience and supporting enterprise applications
  • Current certifications in cloud computing, modern infrastructure, or similar desired
  • Experience administering or supporting:
    • Microsoft Exchange email environments
    • Microsoft 365 services and workloads
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments
    • Physical server hardware, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
    • Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Base Pay Range:
$58,100.00 - $87,100.00
Vera Bradley's compensation ranges are based on market data and comply with all local, state and federal regulations. Individual pay within the listed range depends on work location, skills, experience, and relevant education.
