POSITION OVERVIEW

Our product creation teams combine consumer insight, design excellence, technical expertise, and commercial ambition to create products that perform and inspire. Every range is shaped through thoughtful strategy, compelling storytelling, and disciplined execution.
The Manager, Global Product Marketing (Originals Golf) leads the creation of globally relevant golf apparel and accessories within a curated, premium lifestyle performance segment. This role owns the end to end product marketing process from strategy and range architecture through milestone presentations, systems execution, imagery, and go-to-market readiness.
Working across Product Marketing, Design, Development, Merchandising, Finance, Legal, and global markets, this position ensures product ranges align with seasonal priorities and long-term brand and financial objectives. The role also serves as a critical connection point across global teams by gathering insights, sharing information, and enabling effective decision making.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Range Ownership: Lead end to end ownership of global golf apparel and accessories ranges from strategic briefs through go-to-market execution.
Seasonal Strategy: Develop and present seasonal range strategies, product overviews, and milestone presentations to internal teams and external partners.
Range Architecture: Build curated product assortments that support consumer needs, brand priorities, market opportunities, and financial growth objectives.
Cross-Category Alignment: Maintain awareness of seasonal footwear product strategy to ensure alignment across the broader golf product offering.
Product Creation: Partner with Design, Development, Operations, Merchandising, commercial teams, and key accounts to improve product relevance and range efficiency.
Systems Management: Input, maintain, and validate product information across M-3 product briefs, Origo, and other required product creation systems and portals.
Consumer Insights: Gather and share global consumer, market, customer, and competitive insights to inform product strategy and identify growth opportunities.
Innovation: Identify and lead category growth opportunities and new product innovations that strengthen the global golf business.
Global Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders across Finance, Legal, Creation Center Tokyo, Creation Center Herzogenaurach, and Creation Center Portland to support efficient decision making and execution.
Regional Support: Lead regular communication with global regions to share information, gather feedback, and ensure teams are supported throughout the seasonal process.
Information Management: Create and manage SharePoint solutions that provide apparel-specific information to Carlsbad and globally based stakeholders.
Seasonal Operations: Create and maintain global line lists, calendars, sample orders, photography workflows, image approvals, and product feature and benefit content.
Image Management: Lead B2B and B2C product image review and approval processes to support accurate and timely marketplace execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 4+ years of product marketing experience.
• Apparel industry experience.
• Basic knowledge of golf and the broader golf industry.
• Clear understanding of the product design and development process and seasonal creation calendar.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute effectively in a fast-paced global environment.
• Strong presentation and advanced public speaking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint with the ability to build impactful presentations.
• Experience organizing meetings, presentations, events, or other complex team activities.
• Passion for sports, fashion, product creation, and growing a global business.
• Ability to embody the adidas values through daily leadership, collaboration, and decision making.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• Experience with RMA, Nova, Power BI, M-3, Origo, or similar product creation and reporting systems.
• Experience managing global product ranges or working across multiple international markets.
• Experience developing range architecture, seasonal product strategies, and consumer-led product briefs.
• Experience working with global design, development, merchandising, finance, legal, and commercial teams.
• Experience with SharePoint or similar information management and collaboration platforms.
• Experience supporting product photography, image approvals, sample management, and seasonal line list creation.
• Deeper knowledge of golf consumers, competitive brands, market trends, and the global golf industry.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position follows the adidas hybrid work policy and is based in Carlsbad, California. Employees are expected to work in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday. In-office attendance is required on Fridays when business needs involve a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation.
The role operates in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally connected product creation environment. Regular interaction with international teams and creation centers is required, and travel may be necessary based on business needs. The working language is English.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This role sits within the Global Apparel Golf organization and works closely with the Global Apparel Golf Director and Global Apparel Golf Managers. The position has significant cross-functional exposure to Global Merchandising, Apparel Design, Development and Operations, Brand and Sports Marketing, market merchandise and product teams, Brand Legal, Finance, and global creation centers in Tokyo, Herzogenaurach, and Portland.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $108,240 to $130,200.
Actual salary will be based on various factors, including a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
Employees are eligible to earn an annual bonus based on both company and personal performance.
