Job description

Purpose: The sample specialist role owns the end-to-end systemic and manual processes for all NAM sales samples arriving and distroing through Indy warehouse.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage technical aspects of key operating systems (MARC, Sample System) used to receive, generate, distribute, and provide updates across all adidas channels and divisions.
  • Manage Sports Specialty distribution lists for 4 customer numbers in compliance with Global sample policy.
  • Work with Global Sample team and local shippers to monitor, track and resolve inbound transportation of sample receipts.
  • Coordinate and execute end to end Proto process across multiple departments.
  • Review all components of sample embellishment requests. Manage manual processes using smart sheet technology, working with multiple internal teams to forecast and ensure printing compliances are achieved.
  • Prepare and provide monthly report-based data to ensure audit compliance and best practices per global standards.
  • Maintain and update documentation for policies/procedures and SOP's essential for training and on boarding new team members.
  • Manage and communicate scheduling of BU Teams to review samples in village gym with an email/smart sheet process to organize heavier workload.

Knowledge, Capabilities and Experience:
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on oral and/or written instructions.
  • Solution oriented mindset able to handle an elevated level of stress while remaining level-headed and able to solve the issues at hand.
  • Initiate and facilitate group meetings.
  • Ability to speak, read, comprehend, and write English.
  • Able to maintain reliable and consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of general computer applications (including Word and Excel) with the capability to work in multiple systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday.

Requirements:
  • Must be able to bend, lift, climb stairs, and walk in a warehouse environment.
  • Must be adaptable to a work environment in office or at home.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Flexible to work Monday - Friday 8am-5pm and overtime as needed.

  • At adidas we offer a Hybrid work policy which requires attendance in the office Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely on Friday each week. For work requiring a high degree of collaboration or an in-person presentation, in-office attendance is required even on Friday. The working location of this position is Indianapolis, Indiana.
