Job description

Adaptive Swim Coach (1:1 Therapeutic Setting)

Aqua-Tots Swim School is seeking a compassionate professional with experience in ABA, special education, therapy, or working with children with adaptive needs to join our Adaptive Swim Program.

This role focuses on primarily 1:1 sessions, helping children with autism and unique abilities build water safety, confidence, and independence in a structured, supportive environment.

Position Details

  • Part-time (5-12 hours/week)
  • Consistent weekly scheduleโ€ข Weekday afternoons or weekendsโ€ข Sessions are primarily 1:1 with parent involvement

Compensation

  • $25-$30/hour based on experience
  • Paid training provided

What You'll Do

  • Lead 1:1 adaptive swim sessionsโ€ข Support children with varying sensory and behavioral needsโ€ข Teach water safety and foundational swim skillsโ€ข Guide parents during sessionsโ€ข Celebrate progress and build confidence
