EdTheory is hiring a passionate and dedicated Adaptive Physical Education (APE) Teacher to join our expanding team in Carmichael, California. This role involves delivering high-quality adaptive physical education services to individuals and families, significantly improving the lives of those with developmental delays, injuries, and other conditions.
Key Qualifications and Responsibilities:
  • Possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Adaptive Physical Education or a closely related field
  • Hold or be eligible for current state licensure/credential as an Adaptive Physical Education Teacher
  • Knowledge of IEPs and ability to adapt activities to meet individual student needs
  • Ability to collaborate with special education teams, therapists, and school staff
