Activities Assistant

Join our team at Greenville Center, a leading provider of senior living services, and make a difference in the lives of our residents! As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling and engaging experience for our residents, while maintaining their independence, choice, and dignity.

About the Role:

As an Activities Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Creating and coordinating daily events, such as games, arts, and crafts, and other recreational activities.

  • Transporting residents to and from activities

  • Logging activities notes related to resident participation.

  • Create a warm, welcoming, and engaging activities experience.

  • Communicating with participants, employees, and volunteers to ensure a seamless experience

  • Managing logistics and operations to ensure the smooth execution of events

  • Lifting the spirits of our residents and ensuring they enjoy their time at our community

Requirements:

  • High school diploma and certain certifications may be required

  • Experience with nursing, recreational activities, event planning, or related fields may be preferred

  • Job training and first aid/CPR training may be necessary

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
