Job Summary:

As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and directing daily events and programming for our residents. This full-time opportunity is perfect for someone who is passionate about creating engaging experiences for seniors.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and coordinating events and activities programming

  • Build relationships with residents to understand their interests and tailor programming to their desires

  • Organize group and individual activities, including arts & crafts, performances, and other events

  • Generate creative ideas to excite and encourage residents to participate in programming

  • Encourage residents to engage in activities that promote physical, mental, social, and spiritual well-being

  • Document and report any unusual or significant findings

  • Report all reportable events immediately

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

  • Must be at least 18 years old
