Job description

Overview
The Senior-Level CAG/DAG / Business Operations Specialist performs critical acquisition support, planning, and business operations duties in support of the Space Force at Los Angeles Operations in El Segundo, CA. In this role, you will serve as a primary integrator for technical and programmatic responses, ensuring that the directorate remains responsive to high-level taskers from the Space Systems Command (SSC) and Department of the Air Force. This position requires an active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Responsibilities
  • In this role, you will assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from a wide range of internal and external program stakeholders.
  • You will frequently interact with Space Force/Air Force and DoD tools such as the Task Management Tool (TMT) and MS Office Suite to initiate, track, and close out directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers.
  • You will advise leadership on the status of assigned deliverables and maintain high-level appointment calendars and conference room schedules.
  • Responsibilities and tasks will also include:
    • Performing daily review, analysis, and dissemination of tasks.
    • Using NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) and email to retrieve and assign tasks.
    • Updating the tasker database for daily leadership reporting.
    • Assembling and providing instructions on the completion of electronic Staff Summary Sheet (eSSS) packages.
    • Coordinating communication across various leadership levels (Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, SF, and DoD).
    • Providing direct support to PEO PMRs, All Calls, and other high-level mission meetings.

Skills Required
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience, with a minimum of 5 years specifically supporting DoD acquisition programs.
  • Demonstrated experience with 5 years of recent Space Force or Air Force activities (preferred).
  • Expert knowledge of DoD tools, specifically the Task Management Tool (TMT) and the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Effective communication, planning, budgeting, and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force Acquisitions.
  • Ability to work independently on time-sensitive, high-visibility tasks.
  • Active DoD Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance (required).
  • US citizenship (required).

Education
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics is required.

Salary Range
  • $95,000 - $120,000 / Year DOE
