Job description

Respiratory Therapist | Direct Hire

Location: Tulsa, OK (Yale Campus)
Schedule: Days | 7:00 AM โ€“ 7:00 PM | 36 hrs/week (3x12s)
Pay Range: $26 โ€“ $38/hour
Positions: 2 Openings


Role

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services, assesses patient conditions, and implements therapeutic interventions in accordance with hospital policies to monitor and improve patient outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Assess and deliver respiratory care in critical and non-critical settings
  • Administer respiratory treatments (nebulizer, inhaler, aerosol, oxygen therapy)
  • Manage mechanical ventilation (invasive & non-invasive)
  • Assist with intubation, extubation, bronchoscopy, and suctioning
  • Monitor patient response and adjust ventilator settings
  • Document clinical information and verify physician orders
  • Respond to Code Blue/RRT calls and patient transports
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams and support patient care quality initiatives


Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program
  • CRT or RRT (NBRC) Certification
  • Valid Oklahoma Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License or temporary permit
  • BLS certification within 2 months of hire


Key Skills

Mechanical ventilation, airway management, CPR, chest physiotherapy, pulse oximetry, respiratory diagnostics, and strong communication/documentation skills.
