Job description

Plant Health Care (PHC) Technician Location: Jessup, MD Pay: $18-$24/hour (based on experience) Schedule: Monday-Friday + Overtime Opportunities Seasonal: Spring through Fall Help Trees Thrive. Build Something Bigger. We're not just another tree company-we're growing fast, and our Plant Health Care division is exploding. So much so, our current PHC tech is buried (in a good way... mostly). We're looking for someone ready to step in, learn quickly, and become a key player in a high-demand, high-growth part of our business. What You'll Be Doing
  • Applying tree and plant health treatments (fertilization, pest/disease control, soil care)
  • Working outdoors daily (yes, in the real world-not behind a desk)
  • Operating equipment and maintaining a clean, organized work setup
  • Communicating with team members to keep jobs running smoothly
  • Learning the science behind tree care (we'll train you)
Why This Role is Different
  • Fast growth = real opportunity (we're expanding quickly, and this role matters)
  • Hands-on training provided - no experience? No problem
  • Overtime available, especially during the busy spring season
  • You'll build a skillset that's actually valuable and in demand
What You Need
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check for government site work
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions
Bonus Points (Not Required)
  • Pesticide applicator's license
  • Experience in landscaping, tree care, or similar field
Who This is Perfect For
  • Someone who wants to work hard, stay active, and not sit behind a desk
  • Someone looking to learn a trade and grow with a company
  • Someone who takes pride in doing real, visible work
If you're the kind of person who'd rather be outside making things better than staring at a screen all day, you'll fit right in!
