Bluecore Residential (formerly Mount Auburn Multifamily/Bluestone Properties) is a private multifamily real estate investment firm founded in 2004. We've manage over 16,000 multifamily units across high-growth markets nationwide and were the largest seller of multifamily properties in the U.S. in 2022, consistently achieving deal-level IRRs exceeding 30%.
With the launch of our new pension fund partnership and dedicated acquisition fund, we are expanding our pipeline of preferred equity investments and acquisitions, with a primary focus on Class A multifamily assets in the Sunbelt. Our long-term vision is to deploy over $10B in capital over the next 7-10 years and scale the platform to 40,000-50,000 units.
Bluecore is adding a Acquisitions Analyst to support our multifamily investment team in Newport Beach, CA. The Acquisitions Analyst will work on multifamily acquisitions as well as preferred equity investments in multifamily development projects. They will provide support for all activities from initial underwriting through closing. They must be comfortable with high deal volume and will be working on several projects at once. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and have outstanding underwriting and business writing skills. They will work directly with an experienced, close-knit team looking to rapidly scale our investment portfolio.
The Acquisitions Analyst will be preparing and assembling multifamily valuations, market studies, executive summaries, and investment memorandums. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and analytical skills and be an effective problem-solver.

Requirements

  • You have at least one year of experience underwriting multifamily acquisitions.
  • You have at least one year of experience as a Financial Analyst.
  • You have advanced computer skills; including Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • You have excellent writing skills.
