What We are Looking for:

Dorchester Group is seeking a highly motivated Private Equity Acquisitions Analyst Intern to join our team and contribute to the full lifecycle of real estate investments. This internship provides hands-on experience in both acquisitions and asset management, with a primary focus on supporting underwriting, asset management, and market research functions.

Position Overview:

As a Private Equity Acquisitions Analyst Intern, you'll play a vital role in all aspects of real estate acquisition and portfolio management in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. You’ll gain practical experience in market research, financial modeling, due diligence, and property analysis. This is a paid internship designed to provide a solid foundation for a career in commercial real estate. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and thrives under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

· Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market surveys to identify potential investment opportunities.

· Financial Analysis: Assist in the underwriting of potential acquisitions, including financial modeling and rent comparable studies.

· Due Diligence Support: Contribute to the due diligence process by gathering and analyzing property-level data.

· Asset Management Exposure: Rotate with the Asset Management team to gain insight into property operations, tenant relations, and portfolio performance.

· Data Management: Maintain and organize data related to market research, financial analysis, and due diligence.

Qualifications:

· Highly motivated and passionate about commercial real estate.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling experience a plus).

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.
