What is an acquisition com?

Acquisition Managers are professionals responsible for overseeing the process of acquiring goods, services, companies, or assets for their organization. They evaluate potential acquisitions, conduct due diligence, negotiate contracts, and ensure that purchases align with the company's strategic goals. Acquisition Managers often work closely with legal, financial, and operational teams to ensure smooth transactions and compliance with regulations. Their role is vital in helping organizations grow, remain competitive, and maximize value from acquisitions.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an acquisition com?

To thrive as an Acquisition Manager, you need expertise in contract management, negotiation, procurement processes, and a relevant degree such as business administration or supply chain management. Familiarity with procurement software, ERP systems, and often certifications like Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or DAWIA are important. Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills help you excel in negotiations and relationship building. These competencies ensure effective sourcing, cost savings, and the successful execution of acquisition strategies.

How does an acquisition com typically collaborate with cross-functional teams during a project?

An Acquisition Communications professional plays a central role in bridging communication between acquisition teams, stakeholders, and external partners. They often coordinate with project managers, legal teams, procurement specialists, and technical experts to ensure that all parties are aligned on project goals, timelines, and compliance requirements. Effective collaboration involves regular meetings, status updates, and the creation of clear, concise documentation to facilitate decision-making and address any issues promptly. This collaborative approach helps ensure smooth project execution and successful outcomes.

WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US

We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner to lead the execution of our Talent Acquisition strategy across our locations in EMEA, APAC, and Americas. This role is instrumental to our ongoing growth and transformation, requiring a strategic mindset and deep operational delivery expertise. As part of our high-performing Global Advisory, Operations & Hub Talent Acquisition team, you will report directly to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition and collaborate closely with both global and local stakeholders. Your focus will be on aligning recruitment efforts with regional priorities, executing strategic hiring initiatives, and enhancing the overall Talent Acquisition experience across diverse markets. You will be dedicated to Global Advisory, and Operations business units, and additionally will contribute to the Global Talent Hub — a dynamic team designed to accelerate scalability, improve efficiency, and optimize recruitment processes. The Hub operates as a flexible resource, supporting other business units and managing hiring volumes. This structure offers a unique opportunity to broaden your expertise beyond specific business areas or geographies, while partnering with fellow Talent Acquisition professionals across regions.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

Lead and manage the full recruitment lifecycle across EMEA, APAC, and Americas with a primary focus on the Operations business unit. Serve as a strategic advisor and primary point of contact for business leaders — supporting hiring needs, shaping recruitment strategies, driving employer branding efforts, and consistently building talent pipelines. Drive sourcing efforts through a combination of personal networks, recruitment tools, and market intelligence to attract and engage highly skilled professionals. Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize recruitment outcomes — reducing time-to-fill and cost-per-hire while maintaining high standards of candidate quality and experience. Support candidate evaluation processes, including the administration and interpretation of psychometric assessments (e.g., SHL). Contribute to regional and global Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects, supporting continuous improvement and innovation. Provide occasional support to fellow Talent Acquisition Partners, promoting collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams and regions.

WHAT WE VALUE
  • Extensive experience as a Talent Acquisition Partner, with a detailed understanding of the EMEA market.
  • Experience with APAC or North America is beneficial.
  • A mix of in-house and agency recruitment experience is welcomed, as well as the background within Financial Services.
  • Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, industry trends, and competitive landscapes, including hiring policies and recruitment norms.
  • Solid communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and advise hiring decisions with deep market insights and recruitment expertise.
  • Comprehensive understanding of compensation frameworks, including salary proposals, compa-ratio, internal equity, and market competitiveness.
  • Familiarity with psychometric and technical assessments (e.g., SHL) is beneficial.
  • High attention to detail and operational excellence in administrative tasks, ensuring accuracy and consistency in job postings, and documentation.
  • Experience with Workday is appreciated.
  • Amenable to work in a hybrid setup (2 days per week).
