Job Description Job Description The American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) is the national medical society representing emergency medicine. Through continuing education, research, public education, and advocacy, ACEP advances emergency care on behalf of its 41,000 emergency physician members, and the more than 150 million Americans they treat on an annual basis. Located in Irving, Texas, we offer paid insurance plans (medical, dental, and vision), retirement, flextime, and more.

This role is based in Irving, TX and is not open to remote applicants . A hybrid schedule of both in-office work and work-from-home is available for this role. The Member Engagement Coordinator works with section staff liaisons, section leaders, and other ACEP staff to coordinate programs and services with the aim of enhancing relationships and increasing section effectiveness.

This role's responsibilities include (but are not limited to) providing support for both member interest groups and ACEP's online community site (engagED) through tracking activities/performance, training new section liaisons, ensuring compliance, processing grants, monitoring spending, processing moderation queues, and serving as back-up staff liaison for sections as needed. Our ideal candidate has... An associate's degree in business administration, communications, education, or a related field.

Equivalent work experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree. A minimum of 3 years of project management or administrative experience with an emphasis on organization, meeting deadlines, proactive communication, and problem solving. Excellent editing and proofreading skills.

Other desired qualifications include prior experience utilizing social media/online community platforms (Higher Logic or similar), working with Microsoft CRM (or similar content management systems), and using email marketing platforms like ClickDimensions.
