Become a Key Player as an Accounts Payable Administrator

You will support the accounting team by managing high-volume accounts payable and receivable transactions to ensure accurate and timely vendor and customer payments. You will impact financial accuracy and cash flow, collaborating closely with the accounting team and cross-functional stakeholders in an onsite role in Simi Valley, CA.

Here’s How You’ll Make an Impact on the Team
  • Prepare, record, verify, analyze, and report accounts payable and receivable transactions.
  • Pay vendor invoices and receive/post customer payments in a timely manner.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts payable/receivable ledger accounts, reports, and financial statements.
  • Perform analyses and reconciliations of bill runs to detect potential fraud.
  • Ensure transaction entry verification procedures are followed and maintain strict confidentiality of financial information.
  • Communicate professionally via phone, e-mail, and correspondence to resolve issues and support team activities.
  • Support additional tasks and flexible scheduling needs, including occasional nights, weekends, or extra hours as required.
Here’s What You’ll Need to Be Successful in This Role
  • High school diploma required.
  • 2+ years of high-volume accounts payable/accounts receivable experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including basic Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to recognize and resolve routine problems using established options.
