Job Summary:
True Anomaly is a company focused on building technology for space superiority. They are seeking a skilled Accounting & Finance Systems Administrator to manage and optimize their financial technology stack, serving as the primary administrator for NetSuite and collaborating with various departments to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary NetSuite Administrator, owning system configuration, user access, roles and permissions, workflows, saved searches, reports, and dashboards.
• Optimize NetSuite Inventory and Item management, including item setup, inventory transactions, costing methods, and related workflows.
• Support and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms, troubleshooting data flow issues and partnering with vendors or internal teams on enhancements.
• Administer and support connected finance and accounting tools including procurement, expense, travel, and financial planning platforms.
• Partner with Accounting and Finance stakeholders to gather requirements, translate business needs into system solutions, and deliver enhancements through the NetSuite development lifecycle (customizations, scripts, workflows, and saved searches).
• Own system-level internal controls (access controls, segregation of duties, and audit trails) and maintain supporting documentation to ensure audit readiness and policy compliance.
• Maintain system documentation including process maps, configuration guides, integration specs, and user training materials.
• Lead or support NetSuite upgrades, sandbox testing, and release management.
• Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, data accuracy, and process automation across the finance tech stack.
• Provide end-user training and support for finance system tools.
Qualifications:
Required:
• NetSuite Administrator Certification (required)
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a NetSuite Administrator in a professional environment
• Deep expertise in NetSuite Inventory and Item management(E.g., item records, inventory adjustments, assemblies, lot/serial tracking)
• Proven experience connecting and integrating systems through native connectors, iPaaS tools (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, MuleSoft), or custom API integrations
• Strong understanding of core accounting and finance processes (GL, AP, AR, procurement, close cycle)
• Ability to work cross-functionally and translate business requirements into technical configurations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Preferred:
• Experience administering or supporting Zip (procurement workflow)
• Experience administering or supporting Ramp (corporate cards & expense management)
• Experience administering or supporting Navan (travel & expense)
• Experience with Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) software (e.g., Pigment, Mosaic, Planful, Adaptive, or similar)
• Additional NetSuite certifications (e.g., SuiteFoundation, ERP Consultant)
• Experience with integrating AI Tools in to Accounting and Finance Systems
• Experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up environment
• Experience with SOX compliance or audit support in a systems context
