Controller / Accounting ManagerGrover Corporation | Glendale, WI (On-Site)Lead the Financial Operations of a Growing Manufacturing Company

Grover Corporation is seeking a hands-on Controller / Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting operations, strengthen financial reporting, and drive continuous improvement within our finance function. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative manufacturing environment and wants to make a direct impact on business performance.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll serve as the company's senior accounting leader, owning the monthly close process, financial reporting, cost accounting, and lender reporting while supervising a small accounting team.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process from start to finish
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Manage manufacturing cost accounting, inventory, WIP, and job costing
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, and cash management
  • Prepare borrowing base certificates and maintain lender reporting
  • Partner with external CPA firms for year-end reporting and tax preparation
  • Improve and automate accounting processes through ERP and Excel-based reporting
  • Supervise and mentor the Accounting/Payroll Clerk
  • Ensure compliance with payroll, sales tax, and financial regulations
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Manufacturing cost accounting experience required
  • Experience leading month-end close and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Supervisory experience
  • ERP experience (Aptean Made2Manage or similar manufacturing ERP preferred)
  • CPA or CMA is a plus
