Accounting Operations Specialist Responsibilities
  • The Accounting Operations Specialist will process daily ACH transactions, exceptions, returns, and ACH originations.
  • Review and process share draft exceptions while serving as a point of contact for member inquiries related to ACH and share draft services.
  • Process wire transfers, legal notices, levies, and other financial transactions in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • The Accounting Operations Specialist will prepare general ledger reconciliations, research discrepancies, and maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities while supporting the accounting team.
  • The Accounting Operations Specialist will cross-train on departmental functions and provide operational support as needed.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Operations Specialist Role
  • 3+ years of accounting, banking, credit union, or financial operations experience.
  • Credit union or banking experience preferred but not required.
