Accounting Operations Analyst
Hybrid | Cherry Hill, NJ
Permanent
Soni's client near Cherry Hill, NJ are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Operations Analyst to support high-volume accounts receivable and cash management activities. This role is responsible for managing the daily vehicle drafting process, generating ACH payment files, reconciling transactions, resolving payment exceptions, and ensuring the accurate collection of wholesale vehicle receivables.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Operations Analyst:
  • Manage the daily vehicle drafting process, including ACH file creation and payment processing through Oracle EBS and banking systems.
  • Monitor and resolve drafting exceptions, finance holds, and retailer banking issues.
  • Reconcile accounts, apply cash receipts, and support month-end close activities.
  • Maintain retailer banking information and ensure data accuracy within Oracle.
  • Partner with Accounting, Distribution, Logistics, IT, Treasury, and financial institutions to resolve transaction-related issues.
  • Prepare documentation and support internal and external audits.
  • Assist with general accounting operations, process improvements, and special projects.

Qualifications of the Accounting Operations Analyst
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 4-6 years of accounting or high-volume Accounts Receivable experience.
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (Oracle EBS) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cash application, reconciliations, and accounting operations.
  • Advanced attention to detail, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to manage repetitive, deadline-driven processes while handling multiple priorities independently.

This position is ideal for an accounting professional with a background in high-volume A/R, cash management, or accounting operations who enjoys working in a fast-paced, process-driven environment.
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000 + bonus
Compensation is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
