Financial Accounting Operation Specialist

Location: This role enables associates to workvirtually full-time, except for required in-person training sessions, providing maximum flexibility and autonomy. This approach promotes productivity, supports work-life integration, and ensures essential face-to-face onboarding and skill development.This position will be based in Mason - OH Pulse Point.

Please note that per our policy on hybrid/virtual work, candidates not within a reasonable commuting distance from the posting location(s) will not be considered for employment, unless an accommodation is granted as required by law.

Schedule: This position will work 5 days per week on 8-hour shifts. Candidate should have availability from Monday through Friday within the operational hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (ET). Additional hours, including weekends or holidays, may be required based on operational needs.

The Financial Accounting Operation Specialist is responsible for performing diverse operational financial and policy activities of a non-routine nature. Interprets and communicates departmental and organizational policies and procedures.

How you will make an impact:

  • Receives, validates and enters information into Finance systems.
  • Adheres to maintained internal controls and tracking reports for reconciliations and analysis.
  • Monitors and updates control to ensure compliance.
  • Conducts independent analysis for the purpose of resolving complex and varied work process issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires H.S. Diploma or equivalent and minimum of 4 years relevant work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • AA Degree in Accounting preferred.
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with billing processes is strongly preferred.
