Jennie Joiner with Forum Group PNW is partnering with a well-established, multi-state manufacturing organization to hire a Senior Accountant based in Eugene, Oregon. The Senior Accountant will work directly with the Controller, Accounting Manager, and CFO, providing exposure to a wide variety of accounting responsibilities, financial reporting, and special projects.   • Participate in accounting system and reporting improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred
  • Associate degree with relevant accounting experience will also be considered
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
  • Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Audit experience strongly preferred
  • Public accounting professionals with audit experience are encouraged to apply
  • Manufacturing, inventory, cost accounting, or product-based industry experience is a plus but not required
  • Experience working within an ERP environment
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across departments
