Job description

We are looking for anAccounting Managerto work for our client. The ideal candidate will align with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.


Responsibilities
  • Be a hands-on leader of a team of talented accounting professionals
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to improve transparency, efficiency, and process development.
  • Monitor relevant GAAP developments to ensure accounting policies are compliant.
  • Identify and drive projects to develop and enhance procedures for areas of ownership.
  • Lead the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate results.
  • Lead the team in successfully executing against close responsibilities during the period.
  • Proactively work with other departments on new business initiatives; ensure financial statements reflect proper recognition of new business transactions per GAAP.
  • Prepare special reports and assist in special projects as assigned by the Controller and management team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
