Our client is seeking a Partnership Accounting Associate to support accounting, reporting, and analytical activities for partnership entities. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for preparing financial statements, calculating partner distributions, and supporting partnership-related financial reporting.
As Partnership Accounting Associate, you will work closely with accounting leadership and senior team members to support monthly and quarterly close processes, evaluate partnership agreements, research U.S. GAAP guidance, and assist with improvements to partnership accounting and reporting workflows.
What You'll Do:
  • Manage the end-to-end preparation, review, and presentation of quarterly financial statements and detailed workpapers for partnership entities.
  • Execute complex monthly accounting operations, including consolidation entries and technical research to ensure strict compliance with U.S. GAAP standards.
  • Oversee the full cash distribution lifecycle by interpreting legal agreements, calculating distributions, and coordinating execution with leadership and Treasury.
  • Analyze financial results to deliver actionable accounting insights to operations, management, and external partnership stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with financial reporting and internal departments on ad hoc deliverables while leveraging technology to automate and scale workflows.
  • Take full ownership of assigned accounting processes while actively supporting the training, development, and mentorship of team members.

What We're Looking For:
  • Undergraduate degree in accounting or a finance-related discipline, maintaining a minimum 3.0 GPA.
