Venteon and Harvard Resource solutions are hiring an Accounting Clerk / Receptionist to work in Roseville, MI. You will provide administrative and clerical support for the Finance Department while serving as the first point of contact for visitors.
POSITION TYPE: Full time. Contract to hire. In office.
PAY: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour.
Requirements of the Accounting Clerk / Receptionist
  • Education: High School Diploma
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in Accounting that includes processing vendor invoices and supporting the billing/payment process.
  • Willing to answer phones and perform receptionist duties by greeting guests upon arrival.

Duties of the Accounting Clerk / Receptionist:
  • Greeting and assisting visitors. Sorting and distributing daily mail.
  • Assist the Accounting and Finance team with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities.
  • Accounts Payable: Perform daily 3-way matching of invoices, packing slips, and purchase orders.
  • Accounts Receivable: Process customer invoices for engineering work performed. Apply payments.
  • Complete data entry related to AP and AR functions
  • Maintain organized and accurate filing systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
