You may also be required to produce financial reports under a tight deadline. Most of your work occurs under the supervision of a head accountant or the director of your department.

What are Accounting Assistants?

Accounting Assistants are professionals who support accountants and financial managers by performing administrative and clerical tasks related to financial recordkeeping. Their responsibilities typically include processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling bank statements, preparing financial reports, and maintaining accurate records.
