Job description

LHH is partnering with a reputable firm in the Seattle, WA area that is looking for an Accounting Administrator for their team. This position will handle various accounting tasks along with administrative support for various clients. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of accounting or operations experience in a fast-paced setting. This role is fully in office in downtown Seattle where you will partner with other members of the team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage accounts receivable, including billing, progress invoicing, and collections follow-up
  • Assist with employee expense reporting and tracking
  • Maintain accurate job cost tracking and allocate expenses to appropriate projects
  • Prepare and track construction billing (AIA billing, lien releases, retainage, etc.)
  • Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
  • Maintain vendor records, W-9s, and assist with 1099 preparation
  • Coordinate with project managers on budgets, cost updates, and financial status
  • Assist with ad hoc projects or reporting as needed
Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of accounting or operations experience
  • AA or BA degree preferred
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Viewpoint, or similar ERP systems)
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, basic formulas)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
