Job description

Our client, a growing international manufacturing organization with U.S. operations, is seeking an Administration & Accounting Manager to support day-to-day operations and serve as a key liaison with corporate leadership. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across accounting, HR, and general office administration, along with strong cross-functional coordination skills and fluency in Japanese and English. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with executive leadership, outside financial and legal advisors, and international headquarters.
Job Responsibilities -
- Coordinate daily accounting functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, and expense tracking.
- Maintain financial records and support monthly close activities in partnership with an external CPA firm.
- Oversee HR administration, including recruiting coordination, onboarding, benefits, payroll documentation, and employee records.
- Manage corporate administrative functions such as business licensing, insurance documentation, contracts, and office lease coordination.
- Supervise and support office managers across multiple U.S. locations.
- Prepare financial and administrative reports for executive leadership and overseas headquarters.
- Coordinate with external CPA, legal, and HR professionals as needed for specialized guidance.
- Provide administrative support to purchasing, sales, and safety functions as needed.
Job Requirements -
- Business-level proficiency in both Japanese and English, verbal and written.
- Professional experience in administration, accounting, finance, or HR, or a related business function.
- Working knowledge of core accounting principles, including AR, AP, payroll, and financial reporting.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities across diverse responsibilities.
- Effective communication and coordination skills across all levels of an organization, including international leadership.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
