Job Description Our client is a product-based company looking for a hands-on Accounting Manager to own the full accounting function, from daily transaction recording through financial statement preparation and audit coordination. This role leads month-end and year-end close, manages inventory accounting, and serves as a key financial resource for operational and leadership decision-making. It's a strong fit for someone who likes being close to the numbers and wants real ownership in a lean, impactful environment.

Responsibilities: Lead month-end and year-end close processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet analyses, and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP Manage inventory accounting and internal controls, including reconciliations, cycle count reviews, physical inventory oversight, and variance investigations Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances, and communicate findings and recommendations to management Coordinate annual audits, support budgeting and forecasting activities, and assist with cash flow planning Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or lead close experience Strong understanding of GAAP, inventory accounting, and month-end close processes Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
