What You'll Be Doing
As the Accounting Director, you will provide leadership and oversight of all accounting operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and strong internal controls. You'll oversee month-end and year-end close processes, direct audit activities, support budgeting and forecasting, manage grant accounting functions, and collaborate with leaders across the organization to provide meaningful financial insights. You'll also supervise and develop accounting staff while driving continuous process improvements.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership and staff management experience
  • Experience with grants and regulatory compliance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • CPA designation
  • Nonprofit and/or healthcare industry experience
  • NetSuite experience
  • Experience managing government grants and external audits
