We're seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our healthcare team at the Alamance County Detention Center. If you take pride in accuracy, accountability, and helping others, this could be the career opportunity you've been searching for.
Every day, you'll help ensure patients receive the medications and healthcare support they need while working alongside a dedicated team of medical professionals.

What You'll Do
As a Certified Medication Aide, you'll be an important part of the healthcare team, helping ensure safe and efficient medication administration throughout the facility.
Responsibilities include:
  • Administering medications as permitted by certification and facility protocols
  • Accurately documenting medication administration records
  • Observing patients and reporting concerns to nursing staff
  • Assisting with medication inventory and accountability procedures
  • Supporting nurses and providers with daily healthcare operations
  • Maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and facility policies
  • Promoting a safe, professional, and patient-focused environment

Qualifications
  • Current North Carolina Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Previous healthcare or correctional experience is helpful but not required
