About the role
The Account Strategist plays a key role in managing the execution and performance of client marketing programs. This position is responsible for owning day-to-day account operations, coordinating across internal teams, and contributing to performance-driven strategies.
This role represents a transition from executional support to strategic contribution. The Account Strategist is expected to not only manage workflows and client communication, but also begin connecting performance data to insights, recommendations, and client goals.
The ideal candidate is confident managing multiple priorities, comfortable operating in fast-paced environments, and able to bring clarity and structure to evolving client needs. They are a strong communicator, a reliable partner to both clients and internal teams, and are actively developing their strategic thinking.
What you'll do
Client Communication & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a day-to-day client contact, managing communication, follow-ups, and requests with minimal oversight
  • Build strong working relationships through consistent, reliable execution and communication
  • Lead portions of client meetings, including status updates and reporting walk-throughs
  • Ensure all client requests are clearly communicated and followed through

Account & Project Ownership
  • Own execution of timelines, deliverables, and workflows across assigned accounts
  • Manage multiple concurrent workstreams, ensuring deadlines are met in dynamic environments
  • Maintain key account documentation, including trackers, timelines, and reports
  • Proactively identify risks to timelines or deliverables and escalate when needed
  • Support budget and scope tracking at a project level

Performance & Strategic Contribution
  • Begin connecting performance data to campaign strategy and client objectives
  • Contribute to reporting, including drafting insights and recommendations
  • Partner with media and analytics teams to ensure data is accurate and actionable
  • Support optimization efforts based on performance trends

Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate with other departments, including web development, media, creative, and analytics teams to ensure aligned execution across channels
  • Develop project, creative, and media briefs with increasing independence
  • Communicate client feedback clearly and ensure it is reflected in deliverables
  • Help ensure internal teams are aligned on priorities, timelines, and expectations

Quality Assurance & Execution
  • Review deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with strategy
  • Ensure feedback and updates are implemented correctly and efficiently
  • Maintain high standards for quality while managing multiple deliverables

Growth & Development
  • Continue developing a stronger understanding of marketing strategy, performance metrics, and channel dynamics
  • Demonstrate ability to connect execution to outcomes and business impact
  • Take initiative in identifying improvements and contributing ideas
  • Actively seek feedback and apply it to improve performance and impact

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 or more years of experience in account management, marketing, or related field
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing channels, including owned media (SEO & GEO), paid media (search, social, and programmatic), Email & SMS, and more.
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns and client relationships
  • Experience working with e-commerce and/or B2B clients is a plus
  • Hands-on media execution experience is a plus
