Job description

Project Coordinator - Managed Services and Data Solutions

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Coordinator focused on successful project delivery and day-to-day execution across our Managed Services and Data Solutions practices. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, supporting clients through delivery, and coordinating work across technical teams.

Your primary focus will be ensuring projects move forward smoothly - tracking details, coordinating resources, and helping translate agreed-upon scope into executed work. The right person thrives in a fast-paced, MSP-style environment, brings strong organizational skills, and is comfortable working alongside both technical teams and client stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Project Coordination & Delivery: Track project milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across Managed Services and Data Solutions engagements. Support successful delivery of smaller projects and client initiatives from kickoff through completion.

  • Client & Account Coordination: Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned accounts, primarily focused on execution, follow-through, and communication. Coordinate client requests, clarify requirements, and ensure work is routed to the appropriate internal teams.

  • Operational & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, service delivery, and sales teams to align on priorities, schedules, and next steps. Assist with internal planning, status updates, and issue escalation as needed.

  • Hardware & Solution Coordination (as needed): Support hardware quoting and coordination by working with distributors and internal engineers to align solutions with project needs. Ensure quotes and orders align with documented scope and delivery timelines.

  • Execution-Focused Problem Solving: Balance structured project oversight with real-time issue resolution as priorities evolve.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of experience in an MSP, VAR, or IT services environment, with hands-on exposure to project delivery and client coordination.

  • Strong project coordination or project management foundation, especially for smaller or mid-sized initiatives.

  • Technical fluency - you don’t need to be an engineer, but you understand IT services, infrastructure, and managed services well enough to communicate effectively and support scoped work.

  • Experience supporting client-facing projects, including managing timelines, tracking action items, and keeping stakeholders informed.

  • Detail-oriented and execution-focused, with strong follow-through and organizational skills.

  • Comfort working cross-functionally with sales, delivery, and engineering - supporting sales efforts without owning revenue targets.

  • Clear written and verbal communication, especially for status updates and documentation.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint); experience with PSA/ticketing tools (ConnectWise, Autotask, Kaseya, HaloPSA, etc.) is a plus.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with managed services contracts and recurring revenue models.

  • Exposure to data platform work (Azure, Snowflake, Power BI, SQL environments).

  • Familiarity with multiple project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar certification (not required - practical experience matters more).
