Position Description: About Summit Professional Education: Summit Professional Education is a leader in continuing education for allied health professionals, offering dynamic, evidence-based learning experiences that empower clinicians to grow their skills and improve patient outcomes. Our mission is to deliver exceptional professional education that makes a measurable impact in the lives of healthcare providers and their patients. Position Overview: The Strategic Account Manager (SAM) serves as the primary relationship owner for Summit’s key partners across the family of Summit brands. Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment and passionate about building new things. This role ensures seamless post-sale delivery, client satisfaction, and long-term retention by aligning Summit’s educational solutions with partner goals. The SAM will manage the full client lifecycle—from onboarding through renewal—while collaborating closely with internal teams and the Business Development department to identify expansion opportunities, maintain readiness for renewals, and ensure delivery excellence. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management -Serve as the main point of contact for assigned strategic accounts, developing a deep understanding of client goals, structure, and priorities. -Build and maintain trust-based partnerships that drive retention and long-term satisfaction. -Develop and execute account plans designed to achieve high renewal rates and growth objectives. -Maintain consistent, proactive communication with all account contacts. Post-Sale Delivery & Readiness -Oversee and manage all post-sale delivery processes, ensuring contracted services are executed accurately and on time. -Coordinate with all internal teams to ensure flawless execution of client deliverables. -Maintain renewal readiness through early planning, communication, and documentation. -Ensure client deliverables meet or exceed expectations in quality, scope, and timeline. Internal Coordination & Collaboration -Act as the voice of the client within Summit, providing insights to guide content development, marketing campaigns, and service enhancements. -Collaborate with the Business Development team to identify and qualify expansion or cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts. -Partner with internal teams to align service delivery with client goals and maintain operational efficiency across departments. -Support organizational readiness by contributing to forecasting, account planning, and internal review meetings. -Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date records in internal systems such as Salesforce and Asana, ensuring all client interactions, deliverables, and strategic plans are properly documented and accessible to cross-functional teams. Performance Accountability -Maintain high account retention and renewal performance across assigned clients. -Drive consistent customer engagement and satisfaction through proactive and meaningful communication touchpoints. -Identify and collaborate growth opportunities with the Business Development team. -Ensure full readiness and delivery excellence across all assigned accounts, meeting or exceeding internal standards.
