Your Role

The Global COO - Professional Services & Software is a senior executive responsible for setting and executing the global vision, strategy, and service delivery model for the company’s Professional Services and Software business. This role ensures services are aligned with client business objectives, regulatory expectations, and industry best practices while delivering scalable, high-quality, and commercially successful outcomes across global markets.

The position provides executive leadership over governance, service delivery, financial performance, talent development, and market positioning. The role owns global program and portfolio execution, P&L performance, and strategic growth of Professional Services and Software offerings while ensuring strong client partnerships, disciplined execution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Global Vision, Strategy & Service Delivery
    • Establish the overall vision, strategy, and service delivery model for Professional Services and Software.
    • Ensure services are aligned with client business objectives, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Translate strategy into executable initiatives with measurable outcomes.
  • Governance & Operating Model
    • Define and maintain governance structures, decision-making authority, and escalation pathways.
    • Establish global delivery standards, KPIs, and performance management frameworks.
    • Ensure consistent service delivery and accountability across regions.
  • Client Partnerships & Executive Sponsorship
    • Identify and mentor executive sponsors for key client engagements.
    • Build and maintain long-term strategic client relationships.
    • Gather regular client feedback and drive continuous improvement.
  • Executive & CEO Engagement
    • Manage CEO-level expectations, communications, and issue resolution for major programs and accounts.

    • Ensure strategic scope alignment, commercial viability, and delivery feasibility.
  • Program, Project & Portfolio Oversight
    • Provide executive oversight of global programs, projects, and service portfolios.
    • Ensure delivery quality, regulatory compliance, and risk management across all engagements.
    • Travel globally as required to govern and lead critical initiatives.
  • Financial Ownership (P&L)
    • Own P&L responsibility for Global Professional Services Operations.
    • Approve pricing strategies, utilization models, and resource plans.
    • Oversee forecasting, revenue recognition, and financial risk management.
  • Market Positioning & Growth
    • Define market positioning and the Professional Services & Software offerings roadmap.
    • Identify opportunities for service expansion, innovation, and strategic partnerships.
  • Regional Leadership Enablement
    • Provide guidance and direction to Regional Managing Directors.
    • Support regional teams to deliver expectations related to revenue, delivery, and people & culture.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
  • Master’s degree (MBA, MS, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 -15 years of progressive leadership experience in Professional Services, Software, or regulated consulting environments.
  • Proven experience leading global service organizations with P&L responsibility.
  • Strong background in contract governance, commercial negotiations, and service delivery management.
  • Experience operating in regulated industries and managing complex, multi-region programs.
  • Demonstrated success building high-performing leadership teams and succession pipelines.
  • Candidates must be able to travel frequently and support onsite engagements as needed, including international travel.

Adhering to the requirements of U.S laws on salary transparency, the base annual salary range expected for this role is set between $250,000 - $350,000 USD annually. Additional compensation: This position is eligible for commission and/or incentive pay as part of the total compensation package. The salary offered may be adjusted based on various factors such as the applicant's qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
