Well Dunn Catering DC’s premier caterer, is seeking a vibrant, dynamic, and experienced Account Executive to sell, plan, execute and manage catered events. The individual we are looking to add to our team must be someone who is capable of building and managing their own book of business and client relationships. The candidate should be well versed in marketing, sales, and the hospitality/restaurant industry.  Our new Account Executive should be a collaborative team player who is highly motivated and desires to achieve a high level of personal fulfillment and professional success!

Responsibilities:
  • Account Executive responsibilities include discovering and pursuing new sales prospects, negotiating deals, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs.
  •  Design, develop and sell creative catered events.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve better results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams.
  • Plan, oversee and evaluate the contracted events.
  • Monitor and handle inquiry calls on a timely basis, ensuring that all messages are returned.
  • Suggestively sell menus, which meet the client's needs and maximize revenues.
  • Performs all established Well Dunn Catering's SOPs resulting in successful events.

Qualifications:
  • BA or BS required.
  • Previous sales experience, catering, restaurant, event planning, hospitality industry experience a must.
  • Fast learner and passion for sales and events.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Excellent customer and hospitality skills, ability to interpret client’s needs.
  • Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques.
  • Experience in full-cycle wedding planning and event execution.
  • Experience, menu/event planning including social and corporate events a plus.

Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: hybrid schedule.
  • Evening and weekend work is expected based on your event calendar.

Compensation:
  • $52,000-$180,000+.
